Five years ago, our journey began not with textiles, but with clay. Driven by a deep love for traditional Indian craftsmanship and sustainable art, we founded Rithu Pots. What started as a passionate endeavor to bring hand-painted, artisanal pottery into modern homes quickly blossomed into a vibrant community. Our patrons fell in love with our eye for detail, our respect for slow, deliberate creation, and our dedication to authentic heritage styles.
As we spent years working closely with regional artisans, we realized that the same soul, warmth, and artistic depth found in pottery lived beautifully within India’s heritage textiles. Driven by this new inspiration, we transitioned from the world of ceramics to luxury textiles, giving birth to Rithu Ethnics. We traded our paintbrushes and clay for premium Tussar silks, airy Chanderis, and rich breathable linens. Our core philosophy, however, remained completely unchanged: celebrating the imperfect beauty of the human touch.
